Lazy man's teriyaki tenderloin recipe details
Let’s face the facts. After a long day of generally being awesome, its good to kick back. But the last thing you want to do is slave in the kitchen over some stupid Bruschetta al Pomodoro. So here’s the real deal. A recipe so simple you’ll slap yourself silly, yet meaty enough to satisfy all of your twisted, carnivorous desires. Doesn’t take long to make either, as long as you’re ready to marinate overnight. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes with all the fixings.
Ready in: 1 day 2 hours 15 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 6- 2 pounds pork tenderloin
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1/4 cup sugar
- about a teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 2 hours | Extra time: 1 day, marinating1. First, snatch a big old resealable plastic bag, and dump in your soy sauce, ketchup, sugar, and garlic. Now get out your Worcestershire sauce and splash a couple drops into the bag. A few more. Come on! Act like a man! Drop a couple more drops int-STOP! STOP ALREADY! OH MY GOODNESS WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! THAT’S WAY TOO MUCH!
2. Then, grab your meat and stuff it in that bag, shaking it around to mix the ingredients and shake well. Stick it in the fridge overnight or about 8-9 hours or so.
3. Fish out that slab of meat and dump it and the marinade into a baking dish, baking for about 2 and 1/2 hours – 3 hours, or until tender and succulent.Alternate method
Same method can be used for chicken breasts (you only need to marinate for a few hours if you do), beef, or anything else that you can kill with your bare hands… or pick up at the supermarket.
