Ingredients
1 | onion, chopped |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 | carrot, peeled and diced |
¼ bulb(s) | celeriac, peeled and diced |
1 | courgette, diced |
1 sprig(s) | rosemary, chopped |
1 sprig(s) | thyme, chopped |
1 sprig(s) | sage, chopped |
500 g | lamb mince |
1 tbsp | tomato puree |
4 tbsp | oil |
1 can(s) | peeled tomatoes, diced |
salt and pepper | |
paprika powder |
Instructions
In a pan, heat the oil. Stir-fry the minced lamb over high heat until brown and crumbly. Add the vegetables and cook stirring for some minutes. Stir in the tomato purée and cook still stirring for 1-2 minutes. Add the tomatoes and the herbs and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika powder.A nice sauce for spaghetti, lasagne or for shepherd’s pie.
