Lamb in balsamic sauce recipe details
Ingredients
4 | lamb chops, approx. 150g each |
4 sprig(s) | thyme, chopped |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
2 tbsp | oil |
3 tbsp | sugar |
100 ml | balsamic vinegar |
100 ml | vegetable stock |
Instructions
Season the meat with salt and pepper. In a pan heat the oil and fry the chops over medium heat for 3 minutes each side. Take out of the pan and wrap in aluminium foil.Stir the thyme into the pan. Sprinkle with the sugar and caramelize. Pour in the vinegar and the stock. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 8-10 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve the lamb chops drizzled with the sauce.
