Ingredients
900 g | lamb, neck |
water | |
450 g | potatoes, peeled, diced |
230 g | carrots, peeled, chopped |
2 large | leeks, chopped |
1 small | turnip, sliced |
30 g | fresh parsley, chopped |
15 g | flour |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Place the lamb in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Season with salt and pepper, and slowly bring to the boil.
Then add the carrots, turnip and leeks. Simmer gently for 2-2½ hours.
Add the potatoes and continue to simmer for a further 30 minutes. When the potatoes are nearly cooked, add a bit of flour to thicken.
Add the chopped parsley and continue simmering for further 10 minutes.
