Lamb and apricot skewers recipe details
Ingredients
½ stalks | cinnamon |
2 tsp | cumin |
8 tbsp | olive oil |
½ bunch(es) | mint, chopped |
1 | red chili, seeded and chopped |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
600 g | lean lamb, cut into bite-sized pieces |
8 | apricots, halved |
salt and freshly ground black pepper |
Instructions
In a mortar, pestle the cinnamon and the cumin. Stir in the oil, mint, garlic and the chili. Place the meat into a shallow bowl and coat with the mixture. Marinate for 5 hours or best overnight.Thread the meat and the apricots in turn onto skewers. Grill the skewers all around for 6-10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
