Kai yad sai recipe details
Ingredients
3 | eggs |
2 tbsp | cold water |
150 g | minced pork |
1 medium | tomato |
150 g | peas, cooked |
½ | red onion |
½ bunch(es) | coriander leaves |
1 | red chili |
1 tbsp | brown sugar |
1 tbsp | fish sauce |
1 pinch(es) | black pepper |
2 tbsp | soy sauce |
some | oil |
Instructions
Mix the eggs and the water and cook a flat omelet in a large pan. Set aside.Heat some oil in a wok and fry the chopped onion and the minced pork. Add the chopped tomatoes, coriander leaves and the peas. Mix well. Add the sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce and pepper and heat up to reduce the liquid. Add the chopped chili.
Fill the omelet with this mixture and fold all sides in. Turn over and cut a cross in to the top of the omelet, then fold the corners around the cross in.
Serve with rice.
