Jarlsberg oven omelette recipe details
- Ingredients
- 8 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto or cooked ham, cut into strips
- 2-1/2 cups (10 ounces) shredded Jarlsberg, Gruyere, or Samsoe cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 6-cup baking dish about 10-1/2 inches in diameter with cooking spray. In a large bowl, beat the eggs with a whisk just until blended. Mix in the milk, salt, pepper, nutmeg, prosciutto or ham, and cheese. Pour into the prepared dish. Bake in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until set and lightly browned.
