Marzipan and pineapple cake recipe details
Ingredients
100 g | flour |
25 g | semolina |
40 g | sugar |
1 tsp | baking powder |
100 g | margarine, melted |
100 g | marzipan |
1 small | tin of pineapple chunks |
pineapple juice and icing sugar |
Instructions
Melt the margarine and drain the pineapple chunks.Grate the marzipan or cut it into little pieces and mix together with flour, semolina, sugar and baking powder. Pour margarine into the flour mix and use a hand mixer to stir it all together thoroughly, then add the pineapple chunks.
Put the dough into a small greased baking dish and bake in preheated oven on 200°-225°C for 45-60 minutes.
For the icing you can use the leftover pineapple juice and icing sugar.
