Mango tart recipe details
Ingredients
200 g | flour |
100 g | margarine |
70 g | brown sugar |
1 tbsp | cinnamon |
1 tbsp | milk |
1 large can(s) | mangos, sweetened |
3 tbsp | custard powder |
Instructions
For the Dough:Whisk margarine with sugar until creamy, add flour, cinnamon and milk and knead a firm dough. Leave to cool in the fridge for around 1/2 hour.
For the Topping:
Drain mangos and put juice into a cooking pan. Slice mango pieces into thin slices. Heat mango juice and cook with custard powder until it thickens.
Press dough into a tart or springform tin with a low edge, fill in the custard and layer mango slices on top.
Bake in preheated oven on 200°C for around 35 minutes.
