Ingredients

1  onion
500 g minced meat, lamb or beef
2 tsp curry powder
200 g peas, frozen, thawed
1 can(s) coconut milk
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp currypaste
1 medium red chili pepper, seeded and chopped
lemon juice
salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Chop the onion and knead together with the minced meat and curry powder. Season with salt and pepper and shape the mixture to little balls.

Pour about 5 tablespoons of the coconut milk into a bowl and set aside.

In a saucepan, bring the remaining coconut milk to a boil. Add the meatballs, cover and cook for about 5 minutes over low heat. Add the peas and chili pepper and simmer for another 5 minutes. Mix in the reserved coconut milk and season to taste with salt, sugar, curry paste and lemon juice.

Serve with rice.
