Indian fish curry recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | white fish, cod, haddock, skinned and boned |
250 ml | natural yoghurt |
4 tbsp | olive oil |
3 medium | onions, finley chopped |
4 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 tsp | chilli powder |
1 ½ tsp | turmeric |
1 tsp | tumin |
1 tsp | mint |
1 tsp | white vinegar |
Instructions
Heat half the oil in a pan and add two of the onions. Fry until soft and then process in a blender until pureed.Take the rest of the oil and heat it in a large pan. Add the remaining onion and garlic and fry until soft. Then add the spices and cook for a couple of minutes.
Next add the onion puree, mint, vinegar and yoghurt and cook a further 5 minutes.
Add the fish into the curry sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Serve suggestion:Serve with boiled rice.
