Impossible broccoli and cheddar pie recipe details
Ingredients1. Bisquick baking mix (3/4c)
2. frozen chopped broccoli (2pkgs. About 10 oz)
3. chopped onion (2/3c)
4. pepper (1/4tsp)
5. salt (3/4tsp)
6. eggs (3)
7. milk (1 1/3c)
8. chopped onion (2/3c)
9. shredded cheddar cheese (3c)
Method of preparation
1. First heat the oven to 400 degrees. Take a pie plate of 10*1 ½. Take frozen and chopped broccoli, wash it under running cold water and then drain it.
2. Take a bowl, mix onion, broccoli and 2 cups of cheese in it. Take a blender, beat eggs, milk, salt, pepper and bisquick baking mix in it for about 15 seconds on high speed until the mixer gets smooth. Pour this mixture into the pie plate.
3. Place the pie plate in oven and bake it for about 25 to 35 minutes until the tooth pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
4. Spread the left over cheese on top of pie and again bake it for 1 to 2 minutes until the cheese gets melted. Then take out the pie from oven and keep it to cool.
