Imperial coffee cake recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 3/4 cup cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup dried mixed fruit
Mix sugar, brown sugar, flour, cooking oil, and salt. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Add egg, soda, buttermilk and vanilla. Pour into greased and floured 13 X 9 inch pan. Sprinkle cup of crumb mixture and a little chopped nuts, ( if desired), over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes
