Honey brandy eggnog recipe details
Ingredients
12 medium | eggs |
250 ml | honey |
2 ½ l | milk |
2 tsp | vanilla |
1 tsp | cinnamon |
450 ml | whipping cream, whipped |
900 ml | brandy |
some | nutmeg, ground |
Instructions
Only use fresh, refrigerated, eggs.Chill all ingredients well before mixing. Separate the egg whites and yolks.
Combine the yolks and honey. Mix well and set aside.
In a large punch bowl, beat the egg whites to soft peaks. Add in in the yolk mixture. Gradually pour in the milk and the brandy and then add the vanilla and cinnamon. Chill.
Just before serving, stir in the whipped cream. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
