Homemade Coconut Milk recipe

|350 ml||hot water|
Place the shredded coconut in a heatproof bowl. Cover with hot water and stir to combine. Let cool to room temperature.
Place a sieve over a large bowl and line it with a double layer of cheesecloth.
Pour the soaked coconut into the lined strainer.
Pull the edges of the cheesecloth together, lift it and squeeze out the coconut milk.
