Ingredients
1 | coconut, shell removed, flesh grated |
350 ml | hot water |
Instructions
Place the shredded coconut in a heatproof bowl. Cover with hot water and stir to combine. Let cool to room temperature.Place a sieve over a large bowl and line it with a double layer of cheesecloth.
Pour the soaked coconut into the lined strainer.
Pull the edges of the cheesecloth together, lift it and squeeze out the coconut milk.
