Homeemade bramble liqueur recipe details
Ingredients
1 ½ kg | brambles |
1 ½ l | dry red wine |
pulp of a vanilla pod | |
750 g | sugar |
1 stick(s) | cinnamon |
1 ½ l | rum |
Instructions
In a large saucepan, bring the brambles with wine, sugar, vanilla pulp and cinnamon to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Allow to cool a little bit.Stir in in the rum. Strain the liqueur through a fine sieve, lined with cheesecloth into sterilized bottles. Close with caps and allow to steep at a cool place for at least 2 weeks before serving.
