Heavenly Chocolate recipe

- Ingredients
- 1/2 pound butter
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 Tablespoons cocoa
- 1 cup milk
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla
Cream butter, shortening, and sugar. Add one egg at a time, beating after each addition. Sift together all dry ingredients. Mix dry and wet, alternating with milk. Add vanilla. Pour into a 12-cup greased and floured tube or bundt pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until cake tests done.
This is a very rich cake and does not need any icing.
