Ingredients
170 g | hazelnuts, ground |
300 ml | mascarpone cheese |
400 ml | hazelnut ice cream |
500 ml | whipping cream |
50 g | confectioners’ sugar |
60 ml | Frangelico hazelnut liqueur, optional |
whipped cream, for garnish | |
chocolate syrup, for garnish |
Instructions
In a medium bowl, whip the cream until stiff peaks form.In another bowl mix the mascarpone, hazelnut ice cream, sugar and 2 tablespoons hazelnut liqueur to stiff peaks. Add the hazelnuts and mix again.
Combine both mixtures and then pour mixture into a big enough dish.
Freeze for at least 8 hours or overnight.
To serve cut into dessert size portions and decorate with chocolate or hazelnut syrup and a dollop of cream.
