This is a meaty chow mein meal that is very easy to make and will please the entire family or friends. If you like chow mein meals this is definitely one to try.

Ingredients
Serves: 6- 1 pound hamburger
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 5 stalks celery, chopped
- 3 cups water, or as needed
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 2 chicken boullion cubes
- 6 teaspoons corn starch
- 2 cups white rice
- 1 bag chow mein noodles
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 20 minsBrown the hamburger in a large skillet or pot. Drain off the grease.
Add the onion and celery to the meat. Then add enough water to just cover everything.
Add in soy sauce and boullion cubes.
Bring to a boil, then lower heat to low. Cover and cook until the celery and onion are still firm but soft. Then thicken with corn starch.
Cook a small pot of white rice according to package directions and serve with chow mein noodles.
