Guinness beef recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | rib steak, cut into chunks |
300 g | onions, chopped |
250 g | mushrooms, chopped |
300 ml | Guinness |
300 ml | water |
1 pinch(es) | nutmeg, ground |
salt, to taste | |
oil for frying | |
flour |
Instructions
Coat meat in flour. Place in a skillet and brown in oil. Remove meat and set aside.Fry onions for 2-3 minutes and then return meat to skillet. Add all other ingredients and bring to the boil.
Reduce heat and simmer gently for 2 hours or until meat is tender.
