Grilled hamburger steaks recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | minced beef |
150 g | rice, cooked |
1 | yellow, red or green bell pepper, cut into cubes |
1 small | onion, finely chopped |
2 tsp | parsley, chopped |
1 tsp | salt |
¼ tsp | garlic powder |
For the Tangy sauce: | |
60 ml | tomato sauce |
2 tbsp | chili sauce |
1 tsp | Worcestershire sauce |
½ tsp | dried basil |
150 ml | water |
Instructions
Sauce:Put all ingredients in a saucepan and let simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes. Remove from heat when hot and thickened.
Patties:
In a bowl combine rice, green bell pepper, onion, parsley, salt and garlic powder. Add ground beef and mix well.
Shape into 4 large patties and grill for 15 minutes. Turn once. Serve with sauce.
