|12||fresh figs, trimmed, halved|
|250 g||Parma ham, thinly sliced|
|salt and pepper, to taste|
|greens or lettuce, for decoration, if desired|
InstructionsBrush the cut end of the figs with a little olive oil and place them face down on a hot grill of frying pan. Set aside.
Wrap each fig in half a slice of prosciutto and place on a plate. Use greens or lettuce for decoration. the greens.
In a small saucepan, heat some balsamic vinegar and some oil and cook until it is reduced by half. Remove from heat and cool a little.
To serve, drizzle this mixture over the figs and greens and/or lettuce.
