Grilled figs recipe details
Ingredients
12 | fresh figs, trimmed, halved |
250 g | Parma ham, thinly sliced |
olive oil | |
balsamic vinegar | |
salt and pepper, to taste | |
greens or lettuce, for decoration, if desired |
Instructions
Brush the cut end of the figs with a little olive oil and place them face down on a hot grill of frying pan. Set aside.Wrap each fig in half a slice of prosciutto and place on a plate. Use greens or lettuce for decoration. the greens.
In a small saucepan, heat some balsamic vinegar and some oil and cook until it is reduced by half. Remove from heat and cool a little.
To serve, drizzle this mixture over the figs and greens and/or lettuce.
