Grilled cinnamon apple ham recipe details
This recipe takes a little work, but it’s worth it for the smoky flavor of the ham combined with the sweetness of the apples.

Ingredients
Serves: 10- 1 (4 to 6 pound) smoked boneless ham quarter
- 6 red apples, skinned and chopped into 8 pieces
- 18 whole cloves
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 6 slices canned pineapple
- 1/2 cup cinnamon applesauce
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
Preparation method
Prep: 25 mins | Cook: 1 hour 50 mins1. Preheat grill to medium.
2. Place entire ham on the grill for 10 minutes, until seared. Remove from heat and trim fat.
3. Put apples in disposable 9×12-inch aluminum cake pan. Set ham on apples, then pierce meat with cloves and sprinkle with allspice.
4. Position pineapple rings over ham.
5. In a small bowl, combine cinnamon applesauce and ground cinnamon. Spread mixture over ham.
6. Cover ham and pan with foil and put on grill. Cover and grill until ham has internal temperature of 160 degrees F, about 1 1/2 hours. Remove foil, take ham out of pan and place it directly on grill for 10 minutes, then remove from heat and serve.
