Ingredients

  1. Tomatoes – 2 (chopped)
  2. Green chilies – 6
  3. Garlic – 6 cloves
  4. Ginger – 1 piece
  5. Fresh coriander (hara dhania) – 1 bunch
  6. Black-eyed peas (sufaid Lobia) – 2 cups (boiled)
  7. Roasted coriander seeds (sabut dhania) – 2 tsp
  8. Desiccated coconut (khopra powder) – 4 tbsp
  9. Salt – ½ tsp
  10. Oil – ½ cup

Instructions

  1. Blend green chilies, garlic, ginger, cumin seeds, coriander, fresh coriander, coconut, salt and ½ cup of water in a blender
  2. Heat oil in a pot and fry tomatoes
  3. Add blended masala and fry
  4. When oil surfaces, add black eyed peas and cook on dum for 10 mins. Serve.
