Ingredients

4 cups flour

2-3/4 teaspoon baking powder

2-3/4 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 teaspoon salt

1-1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

3/4 heaping teaspoon ground cloves

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1-1/2 cup water

1-3/4 cup buttermilk

3 eggs

1/2 cup melted butter

1/3 heaping cup brown sugar

Syrup Ingredients

2-1/2 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions:

Pancakes:Beat water, buttermilk and eggs together. Add brown sugar, melted butter and remaining ingredients. Fry on griddle until edges are dry and turn.

Syrup:Mix maple syrup, pecans and cinnamon in pan then heat on stove until warm. Serve with the pancakes.
