Ginger pancakes with maple pecan syrup recipe details
- Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 2-3/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 2-3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 heaping teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1-1/2 cup water
- 1-3/4 cup buttermilk
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/3 heaping cup brown sugar
- Syrup Ingredients
- 2-1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Pancakes:Beat water, buttermilk and eggs together. Add brown sugar, melted butter and remaining ingredients. Fry on griddle until edges are dry and turn.
Syrup:Mix maple syrup, pecans and cinnamon in pan then heat on stove until warm. Serve with the pancakes.
