Fruitcake glaze recipe details
Ingredients
2 tbsp | water |
1 tbsp | corn syrup |
2 tbsp | brown sugar |
2 tbsp | orange juice |
Instructions
In a small saucepan combine water, syrup and sugar; bring to a boil and cook until sugar is dissolved.Cool slightly and add orange juice.
Brush over top of cake and repeat two or three times, waiting 5 minutes or more between each brushing.
Use this glazing for other cakes or cookies if desired.
