Fruit jelly with cream recipe details
Ingredients
450 g | redcurrants |
450 g | raspberries |
500 ml | water |
100 g | sugar |
1 tbsp | cornstarch |
2 tbsp | water |
1 tsp | vanilla extract |
500 ml | whipping cream |
Instructions
Combine fruit and water in a saucepan and simmer over medium heat about 10 minutes. Drain. Mix in sugar and stir well.Blend cornstarch and cold water into a smooth paste. Add cornstarch to fruit, stirring constantly.
Bring mixture to a boil and cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Leave to chill.
Serve with cream.
