Fried fishballs recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | white fish filets |
2 | eggs |
4 slice(s) | white bread |
1 | tin of anchovies |
30 g | butter |
½ bunch(es) | parsley |
2 clove(s) | garlic |
some | bread crumbs |
some | salt |
some | pepper |
some | flour |
oil for frying | |
1 | lemon, the grated skin |
1 glass(es) | dry white wine |
Instructions
Wash the fish and simmer in salt water with the lemon rind and the white wine for approx 15 minutes. Take the fish out and chop it up. Let cool down.Soak the bread in some milk, then squeeze liquid out and add to the fish. Also add the eggs, garlic, parsley and the chopped anchovies. Season to taste. Mix well, you can use a kitchen machine. If the mixture is to soft add some bread crumbs.
Put the mixture into the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Form balls with two spoons or with the ice cream scoop. Roll the balls in some flour and fry in hot oil.
