Fried avocado recipe details
Ingredients
2 | avocados |
100 ml | coconut milk |
1 pinch(es) | dried chili flakes |
1 tsp | grated ginger |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
3 tbsp | flour |
1 | egg, beaten |
4 tbsp | desiccated coconut |
oil for frying |
Instructions
Bring the coconut milk with the ginger, garlic and chili flakes to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Let cool down completely. Cut the avocado into 6 slices, peel them and soak them in the coconut milk mixture for 10 minutes.Turn each avocado slice first in flour, then in egg and last in desiccated coconut. Fry in hot oil until brownish. Fits well on top of green salad or as decoration on a starter.
