Ingredients

1 cup(s) | sugar |
2 cup(s) | flour |
4 medium | eggs |
½ pack(s) | baking powder |
1 pack(s) | vanilla sugar |

For the topping: | |
100 g | butter |
4 tbsp | milk |
1 cup(s) | sugar |
1 pack(s) | vanilla sugar |
200 g | almond flakes |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C.Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk the other ingredients until frothy. Fold in the flour mixture. Pour the batter onto a buttered baking tray and bake for 15 minutes.
Combine the sugar, vanilla sugar, butter, milk and almonds in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook until the milk is soaked up. Spread the cake with the topping and bake for another 15 minutes.
