Fig sauce recipe details
Ingredients
2 tsp | cornstarch |
1 tbsp | lemon juice |
300 ml | pineapple juice |
¼ tsp | salt |
200 g | figs, chopped |
honey, to taste |
Instructions
In a saucepan combine cornstarch and lemon juice. Gradually stir in pineapple juice and salt. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.Stir in figs and cook for another minute. Remove from heat and add honey to taste.
Serve with a pork roast or meat loaf.
