Eggless toffee cake recipe details
Ingredients
170 g | plain flour |
200 g | sugar |
½ tsp | salt |
120 ml | boiling water |
120 ml | semi-skimmed milk |
60 g | butter |
20 g | chocolate powder |
½ tsp | mixed spices |
½ tsp | baking powder |
Instructions
Preheat oven 150°C.Use an electric mixer to cream butter and sugar. Add the milk and mix. Slowly add sifted flour, followed by baking powder, salt, chocolate powder and mixed spice. Continue to mix for a further 2 minutes then stir in water using a spoon.
Place in oven and allow to cook for 25-35 minutes.
