Easy beef chili recipe details

Ingredients
Serves: 6- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large onion, minced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 (28 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 (28 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- Salt, to taste
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 45 mins1. Grab a large soup pot. Pour in the oil and heat over medium heat until the oil is hot (it will thin out a bit). Add the beef and cook until you can’t see anymore pink. Then remove the beef from pot with a slotted spoon, leaving the beef drippings.
2. Add the onion and garlic to the pot and cook for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, stir, then refill the tomato can with water and add that water to the pot. And remaining ingredients and turn heat up to high. When everything is boiling, turn the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes.
