Duck breasts in red wine sauce recipe details
Ingredients
4 | duck breasts |
For the red wine sauce: | |
120 ml | dry red wine |
60 ml | vegetable oil |
60 ml | soy sauce |
salt and pepper, to taste | |
For the marinade: | |
60 ml | water |
1 tbsp | soy sauce |
1 tsp | lime juice |
½ tsp | salt |
¼ tsp | caraway seeds, crushed |
1 tsp | mustard |
1 tbsp | raspberry jam |
Instructions
Marinade:Combine raspberry jam, water, mustard, lime juice, soy sauce, salt, caraway seeds in a small sauce pan and cook over low heat until thoroughly hot.
Place duck breasts in a shallow dish and pour marinade over meat. Cover and refrigerate for 2 to 2-1/2 hours, turning occasionally.
Combine wine, soy sauce and vegetable oil, stirring well. Place duck on grill and cook for 15-20 minutes. Slice and serve with sauce.
