Desert Sour Cream Potatoes recipe
- Ingredients:
- 8 medium potatoes, grated
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 2 cups grated cheese (assorted jack, cheddar, and American)
- 1/3 cup grated onion
- 1 pint sour cream
- One 7-ounce can chopped green chilies, optional
Instructions:
Parboil potatoes until done. Let cool. Grate potatoes and add rest of ingredients. Mix well. Heat oven to 350 degrees and cook casserole until completely hot, 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on dish size. For an added zing, you may put in chopped green chilies.
Serves: 6 to 8 people
