Dakota omelet recipe details
- Ingredients
- 6 to 8 eggs
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed fennel seed
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup chopped spinach
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced green onions
- 1 cup browned buffalo or 1 cup buffalo salami, chopped, or Italian sausage
In bowl, combine eggs and ricotta cheese and mix lightly. Stir in milk, basil, salt, fennel, and pepper. Fold in spinach, tomatoes, mozzarella, green onions, and buffalo. Place in iron frying pan. Bake in 350-degree oven for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Serves:6 to 8.
