Curd cheese and pasta casserole recipe details
Ingredients
4 l | water |
4 tsp | salt |
400 g | pasta, e.g. spaghetti |
2 tbsp | chives, chopped |
500 g | curd cheese |
300 g | crème fraîche |
6 | eggs |
1 tsp | ground caraway |
salt and pepper | |
200 g | pancetta bacon |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C.Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente, then drain and cut in smaller pieces.
Mix the curd cheese with the crème fraîche, eggs, caraway and 1 tablespoon of the chives. Season with salt and pepper and caraway.
Dice 100g of the bacon. Carefully stir the spaghetti and the diced bacon into the curd cheese mixture and transfer the lot in a greased casserole dish. Arrange the remaining 100g of bacon in slices on top.
Place the casserole dish into the oven and bake for approximately 45 minutes.
Sprinkle with the remaining chives and serve.
