Creamy halloumi stuffed chicken recipe details
Ingredients
4 large | chicken breast fillets |
4 slice(s) | Parma ham (or similar) |
4 piece(s) | Halloumi cheese |
1 pack(s) | mushrooms, mixed |
1 dollop(s) | butter |
1 dash(es) | olive oil |
1 cup(s) | dry white wine |
50 ml | cream |
1 pinch(es) | oregano |
Instructions
Flatten the chicken breast fillets. Cut a pocket in the side, and stuff with the cheese. Wrap with the ham.Heat olive oil and butter, and fry the wrapped fillets lightly until golden. Remove from pan, and place in oven (at 170 degrees) for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, deglaze pan with the wine, add mushrooms and simmer. Add oregano. Finally, add cream, being careful not to boil.
Serve fillets with sauce on a bed of tagliatelle.
