Cranberry dessert recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 Tablespoons melted butter
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 pound cranberries
- Topping Sauce:
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
Mix in a bowl dry ingredients, (flour, sugar, and baking powder). In a separate bowl, mix together melted butter and milk, then add dry ingredients. Add cranberries. Put in a 8 x 8-inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
Topping: Mix ingredients and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Serve warm.
