These chewy nut bars with chocolate chips are great for breakfast or snacks, or just for a treat any time. They’re really easy to put together.

Ingredients

Serves: 10

• 1 1/4 cup flour
• 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/3 cup eggs, whole
• 1/4 cup vegetable oil
• 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon maple extract
• 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
• 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Preparation method

Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 30 mins

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Place all ingredients except for walnuts and chocolate chips into a bowl and mix thoroughly, about 2 minutes.
3. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Mix about 2 minutes more, then place into pan. Bake 30 minutes. Cool.
