Cornflake stuffing recipe details
Ingredients
2 large onions, chopped |
4 tbsp butter |
1 green bell pepper, chopped |
2 stalk(s) celery, chopped |
120 g breadcrumbs |
3 medium eggs, beaten |
240 ml water |
230 g cornflakes |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Add onion, green pepper and celery and sauté until golden and soft. Cool.
Stir in breadcrumbs.
Mix the eggs with the water and pour over the mixture. Stir well to combine.
Just before stuffing the bird, mix in cornflakes. Pack very loosely into the turkey cavity.
