Ingredients
180 g | flour |
50 g | suet |
50 g | red currants |
some | nutmeg, grated |
1 pinch(es) | salt |

To serve: | |
Demerara sugar | |
butter |
Instructions
Mix all of the ingredients with enough milk to produce a stiff dough. Cut into four pieces and form into rounds; flatten rounds.Dip each piece in flour, then drop into a saucepan of boiling water and cook for about 20 minutes.
Serve hot, together with a spoonful of demerara sugar and a bit of butter on each.
