Ingredients
1 large | English cucumber, peeled and chopped |
350 ml | cream |
3 tbsp | lemon juice |
125 ml | yoghurt, plain |
1 dash(es) | Tabasco sauce |
4 sprig(s) | mint |
1 clove(s) | garlic, peeled |
salt and pepper to taste | |
1 pinch(es) | cayenne pepper, to garnish |
fresh chives, chopped, to garnish |
Instructions
Place the cucumber, cream, lemon juice, yoghurt, Tabasco sauce, sprigs of mint and the garlic into a liquidizer or food processor and blend until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.Serve chilled and garnish with chopped chives and a sprinkle of cayenne pepper.
