Cinnamon bread details
- Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1 Tablespoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Tablespoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease large bread pan. Cream the butter and 1 cup sugar. Add the eggs, vanilla, sour cream, and milk; beat. Sift in the baking powder, baking soda, and flour; mix well.
Pour half of mixture into pan (it will be thick). Combine 1/2 cup sugar and the cinnamon. Spread half the sugar mixture over the batter. Pour remaining batter on top. Marble with knife and sprinkle remaining sugar mixture on top. Bake until fork comes out clean (approximately 1 hour).
