Christmas spice cookies recipe details
Ingredients
230 g | butter |
280 g | sugar |
1 medium | egg |
1 tbsp | corn syrup |
60 ml | orange juice |
2 tsp | orange zest |
350 g | flour |
2 tsp | baking soda |
2 tsp | ginger, ground |
2 tsp | cinnamon, ground |
2 tsp | cloves, ground |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 200°C.Cream together the butter and sugar. Add egg, corn syrup, orange juice, and orange zest and stir well.
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger and cloves.
Combine both mixtures and stir well.
Roll dough out and cut into shapes with cookie cutters.
Bake for 8-10 minutes and then cool cookies on wire racks.
