Christmas Sour Cream Cake recipe

- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 2 Tablespoons of cinnamon
- 3 cups flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 pint sour cream
Combine brown sugar, nuts, raisins, and cinnamon; set aside. Blend flour, baking soda, and salt. In a separate bowl, cream butter, sugar, and eggs. Add flour mixture and sour cream.
Use angel food pan with hole in center. Pour 1/3 of batter and sprinkle 1/3 nut mixture on top. Repeat until batter and nut mixture are all used up. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Enjoy with milk or coffee on Christmas morning.
