Ingredients
shortcrust pastry, see database Simple Shortcrust Pastry | |
230 g | currants |
50 g | confectioner’s or icing sugar, sieved |
some | milk |
Instructions
Roll out the pastry into an oblong. Cut into four circles.Place the currants in the centre of the circles and sprinkle with icing sugar.
Moisten the edges with milk and fold together. Press and roll until the currants show through the pastry. Brush on top with a little milk.
Bake at 170°C for about 30 minutes.
