Chocolate Sour Cream Cake recipe

- 1 package devil’s food cake mix
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup water
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon almond flavor/extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 6 ounces chocolate chips
- cocoa for dusting bundt pan
This cake is so “chocolatey”. It is easy to make and freezes well.
Grease bundt pan and dust with cocoa. Mix the first 6 ingredients thoroughly in mixer. Fold in sour cream; then add chips and nuts. Spread in bundt pan and bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.
Remove from oven, lay foil on top, and cool for about 20 minutes. Remove from pan and cover with foil until completely cool. Dust with powdered sugar when served. This cake freezes beautifully and everyone loves it!
