Chocolate shortbread recipe details
Ingredients
450 g | flour |
50 g | cocoa powder |
250 g | sugar |
salt | |
350 g | cold butter flakes |
5 tbsp | sugar |
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients. Knead until the dough is well combined and smooth. Flatten, wrap in cling film and cool for an hour.Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Roll out the dough onto a lined baking tray. Sprinkle with the remaining sugar and bake for 30 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Cut the shortbread into shapes of your choice and allow to cool completely.
