About this recipe:
I believed this to have been posted previously, but it may have been missed.
This recipe is naturally very sweet, especially when using golden syrup, although not much of a problem if the portion size is controlled. I have not tried doing so, but I was told that the juice of half a lemon or a whole lime added to the mixture will reduce the apparent sweetness without unduly altering the balance of flavours.
